Job Description

The CityKidz Studio Stage Host is a seasonal part-time contract position, supervised by the Coordinator of Children’s Programs and responsible for co-hosting the CityKidz Studio Shows held on scheduled Saturdays throughout the spring and fall seasons. The Stage Host works closely with their co-host and the Show Director to prepare and deliver live shows that are an immersive and interactive experience for children ages 6 to 11. Show lessons teach children positive values and character traits and inspire them to dream big. At each CityKidz Studio Show, children can expect to fully participate and share impactful and meaningful moments with their friends and leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training sessions
  • Participate in all scheduled rehearsals and assigned show segments, including but not limited to games, songs, lessons, skits, and show transitions
  • Ensure all show segments and materials are prepared for presentation
  • Contribute ideas for refining and improving each show
  • Co-host two 75-minute Studio Shows each scheduled Saturday
  • Provide leadership that effectively directs and redirects child participation and maintains engagement
  • Bring a respectful, energetic, and positive attitude toward all aspects of the role
