IN-PERSON JOB FAIR:

Please join us on the below dates for an open house Job Fair at our Hamilton facility located at 65 East Cargo Road L0R 1W0:

• Thursday February 15th from 11am to 4pm
• Friday February 16th from 11am to 4pm

OVERALL PURPOSE:

To participate in the safe, accurate and timely processing – scan, unload, cross dock and/or load, of inbound and out-bound freight, to meet DHL on-time performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Scan freight as per Global SOP in various programs
• Unload and/or load freight safely, correctly and quickly
• Move freight within the warehouse area as per requirements
• Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound and outbound material
• Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area
• Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment
• Other warehouse/retail duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor

Do you have what it takes?

• Must have ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece unassisted, throughout shift
• 100% accuracy in sort to minimize mis sorts
• Meet company productivity targets
• Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction
• Handle shipments in a manner that minimizes damage
• Shipment processing complies with Dangerous Goods handling requirements
• Follow policy and procedures as outlined by shift Supervisor
• Maintain a secure and safe working environment for all staff
• Comply with Collective Agreement
• Alert operations management of service issues immediately as they occur
• Proven ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
