JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR AN HR ADMIN IN BRANTFORD – 30 minutes West of Hamilton
Onsite 30 hours per week
$19-$22 / hour
Legally eligible to work in Canada
JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for providing daily coverage of lunch and breaks for reception/ switchboard and supporting the administrative functions of the HR department, such as assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training, creating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets and presentations, coordinating workplace inspections and labour reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and maintain HR documents, HRIS system and other employee databases.
Assist with administrative components of the health and safety system, including coordinating monthly workplace inspections.
Assist with maintaining the training matrix and proof of training documentation.
Prepare new employee orientation packages and assist with full-cycle recruitment: identifying, sourcing, screening, and shortlisting potential candidates.
Assist with employee benefits and pension plan, including short-term disability for hourly employees.
Follow structured processes and standard operating procedures as outlined in HS-103 and participate in training/information.
Assist in monitoring daily and monthly attendance reports and completing regular data audits.
Provide backup coverage for reception/switchboard daily (lunch, breaks and vacations)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration or Human Resources or similar type program.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of management, employees, and outside contacts.
