Requirements & Prerequisites

* CWB Certified in Stick (SMAW), MIG, or Flux-Core (all positions)

* 2 yrs+ related experience in a custom fabrication environment

* Experience in heavy industry / aggregate industry a bonus

* Experience working on conveyors, mechanical and structural components, heavy equipment repair, all assets

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications

* Experience operating metal shaping machines such as brake presses, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines an asset

* Good communication skills – verbal and written

* Ability to follow safe work practices; any Health and Safety training an asset

* Good attendance and safety record

* Drivers License and clean driving record (for candidates who are open to off-site service support work)

* Willing and able to work assigned shift
