DZ Driver – Hook lift / Dump Truck
Job Description
- Drive and operate a Hook Lift and/or Dump Truck
- Conduct detailed pre-trip inspections of equipment and assigned vehicles.
- Transport loads to assigned facilities following all safety requirements.
- Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner while abiding by all company policies and procedures.
- Accurately complete daily logbooks and inspections as well as online dispatch and routing system requirements
- Act in accordance with the Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Environment rules and regulations
- Perform additional responsibilities and assignments as assigned by management.
Wage $26.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements & Prerequisites
- DZ license required
- AZ license an asset
- At least one year of Hook Lift and/or Dump Truck or roll off experience required
- Have a clean driver’s abstract
- Safely operating a full-size dump truck
- Operate a hook or roll off truck
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Multi-task & prioritize tasks, load, and secure equipment on trailer
- Be able to operate 18 Speed manual and automatic transmissions.
