Job Description

Both full-time and part-time hours are available depending on what you are looking for. The employer can offer anywhere from 15-40 hours per week. Flexible hours and shifts are available and can be worked out with the employer.

Wage for the Driver/Cleaner role: $18-20 per hour depending on experience

Wage for the Cleaner role: Base rate is $16.55 per hour but the candidate’s level of experience will be considered

 

Since 1981, we have operated as a full cleaning & maintenance company in the greater Hamilton area. Our interior and exterior services support the operation of homes, businesses, condos, buildings and real estate by providing detailed cleaning as well as window cleaning, eavestrough cleaning, eaves repair and garden maintenance.

Job duties include but are not limited to…

Cleaning duties:

  • Vacuum, mop and wash floors
  • Vacuum carpets
  • Dust furniture and items
  • Make beds and change bed linens
  • Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms
  • Empty garbage
  • Dust/wash woodwork

In addition to the duties above, the Driver/Cleaner position would also be responsible for the following…

Driving duties:

  • Use a company vehicle to drive yourself and coworkers to client locations
  • Maintain clients on a regular cleaning schedule
  • Run errands based on company needs
  • Prepare supplies, laundry and clean vacuums

Requirements & Prerequisites

Cleaner:

  • Professional cleaning experience would be an asset but not required
  • Physical requirements include ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, etc.
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow job task plans
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • Basic security check required (i.e. police check / vulnerable sector check) as you will be working in people’s homes, offices and potentially schools

In addition to the requirements listed above, the Driver/Cleaner position would also have the following requirements:

  • Since this role will involve driving a company vehicle to and from client locations, all candidates MUST have a full G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract in order to be considered
  • Must be 25 years old for company vehicle insurance purposes
