Job Description
- Maintain machine shop in a clean and organized manner
- Perform routine maintenance to factory equipment and property (Ex. Machines, racking, doors, etc.)
- Assist machinists, welders, and other technicians with daily operations
- Participate in yearly inventory count
- Load, unload and move products and materials using basic material handling equipment and by hand.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measurement tools
- Set up and operate cold saw, drill press, mill, polisher, and lathe.
- Read and interpret work orders and general production drawings.
- Material selection, handling and organizing

Requirements & Prerequisites
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Comprehension of written and verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division
- Enthusiastic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management and problem-solving skills
- Steel toe shoes are required
- Knowledge of workplace safety precautions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
