Stoney Creek Certified Auto Technician (310S)
Job Description
Our Stoney Creek, ON tire & auto shop is currently on the lookout for a new Certified Auto Technician (310S) to join our team.

Our experienced Certified Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of automotive vehicles and are an essential part of our team.
Hourly rate based on education and/or equivalent experience.

We offer new Team Members support throughout their apprenticeships and provide extensive training. Performance incentives are available to be earned once training stages have been passed.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Complete vehicle road tests to identify deficiencies
- Inspect, adjust and replace necessary parts
- Perform major and/or general repairs on motor vehicles
- Detect the cause of problems/issues and quote number of repairs required
- Other duties as required

After completing three months of service our full-time Team Members are not only eligible to participate in the Company group insurance plan, but also are eligible for a Line of Credit. The Line of Credit can be used for the purchase of parts and services for personal vehicles.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Wage: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Requirements & Prerequisites
We are on the lookout for a candidate that has brilliant communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, passion for cars, in addition to:
- Class A/310S license
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in auto repair and maintenance
- Skilled troubleshooting abilities
- Electronic and emission diagnostic a must
- Knowledge of various types of automotive related products
- Knowledge of tools and equipment
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Experience working as a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Diagnostic Skills
- Previous experience in tires (an asset)
- Own Tools
