Sidewalk Crew members for winter snow clearing
Job Description
Ciccarelli Contractors Inc. are looking for qualified individuals to perform sidewalk snow clearing during snow events for the 2025/26 winter season.
Operating in Ancaster, ON, Ciccarelli Contractors have properties in Hamilton, Burlington, Stoney Creek and Dundas to maintain during the winter season.
Sidewalk crews are dispatched from our offices in Ancaster in our company vehicles, and you can park your vehicle at our yard while you are working. Our offices are also available on the HSR bus lines, or arrangements can be made to meet your crew at the first site they will go to.
Sidewalks to be cleared of snow and slush during and after major snow events. Hours to vary based on the length of the snow event.
Employees would need winter boots and warm clothing as you would be working outside during a snow storm.
Company truck to take you from site to site and then either bring back to shop, or drop off downtown prior to returning.
Requirements & Prerequisites
This is a seasonal position, which is part time due to the nature of the industry.
Your hourly wage will be in conjunction with your experience and abilities. The wage listed is a starting point.
We are not able to guarantee the number of hours you will work each week throughout the length of the contract.
1 years experience working on a snow removal crew is preferred but not necessary.
Ability to run small equipment (snow blower) and lift up to 50 lbs is necessary for these positions.
