Job Description

We are currently seeking a team oriented and dedicated individual to join our team, as a Shipper Receiver!

You will be responsible for the flow of incoming and outgoing materials and products. This includes receiving and verification of incoming products, loading trucks, storage of raw materials and finished goods. Transporting large parts to different work areas, as well as shipping and other material control functions such as cycling of raw materials, inventory and outdoor tool storage organization.

Key Accountabilities:

Load trucks daily, ensure required documentation is complete and match purchase orders
Store and organize raw materials and finished goods in designated areas
Prepare necessary shipping documents, maintain accurate records of shipments
Ensure all materials and services are shipped on time in the correct quantities with the correct paperwork
Ensure shipping policies and procedures are followed and shipments are documented accordingly
Accept delivery, unload goods and inspect shipments from trucks
Verify incoming goods against packing slip and purchase order
Inspect and quarantine damaged/defective goods
Cycling of raw materials and inventory organization
Handle material by hand or with use of appropriate equipment
Operate powered and manual industrial equipment such as forklifts, pump trucks, gator, dolly, drum grip, etc. to load and unload materials
Ensure compliance with all safe work practices
Organize tooling storage in accordance with storage plan
Move tooling to/from storage as required on a timely basis
Maintain storage racking and covers on tooling
Inspection of finished skids (card, stability, communicate need to move product into the yard)
Disposal of material packaging
Conduct daily Inspection of forklift
Perform housekeeping duties
Aid with snow removal and salting in the winter months
Other duties as required

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM (includes a 30 min. unpaid lunch)
Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.


Requirements & Prerequisites

Job Experience & Qualifications:

Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience in shipping/receiving, minimum
High attention to detail
Forklift experience : minimum of 2 years
Must be physically fit, and ability to lift
Ability to work independently or as a team player
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meeting deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory systems
Knowledge of safe handling practices
Excellent Communication skills (reading, written and verbal)
Possess good math and writing skills
Be able to provide a police clearance
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Minimum high school diploma.
License: G (Required)
