Grocery Merchandising Representative- Ontario Travel Team

$15.50-$20/Hour

Program coverage includes multiple locations across Ontario. Hotels and meals are provided for programs that require overnight stays.

Grocery merchandising representatives are responsible for in-store merchandising resets. The role of grocery merchandiser is to enhance the consumer experience, increase sales and maximize inventory turns. Working with an experienced travel team, you are responsible for in-store setups, breakdowns, and resets of products at several locations across Ontario.
Availability:

• Monday-Friday
• Night and day shifts
• Shifts will rotate between nights and days (you will not work nights and days in the same week)
• Up to 40 hours a week (hours are based on program cycles and needs)
• Must be available to travel
• Must be available for overnight travel

Compensation:

• $15.50-$20/hour
• $15.50/hour base salary
• $2.00/hour premium applied to night shifts
• $2.50/hour performance bonus available until August 31^st, 2021
• Paid kilometers and travel time
  • $0.38/kilometer
  • 30/30 rule: first 30km and last 30km recorded per day are not included when calculating kilometer reimbursement
• Hotels and meal expenses are provided for overnight stays

Responsibilities:

• Use planograms to execute in-store resets
• Manage in-store inventory, rotate and replenish stock, assemble fixtures, clean and maintain displays, etc.
• Complete WHIMIS Health and Safety training, and adhere to safety guidelines
• Work independently and as part of a team, be reliable and have strong attention to detail
