Job Description
Retail customer service in busy combined bath and body care boutique and salon.
Wage: $17-$22 depending on experience, +bonuses
Duties:
- customer service, sales, cash clients out
- product recommendation
- restocking, spot cleaning and facing up
- light admin tasks
- shipping and receiving
- admin tasks such as filing, organizing
- could include product manufacturing, assembly, labeling
- could include social media work ie Instagram posts
- client contact (email, phone) for appointments and orders
- could lead to retail management if aptitude and skill is demonstrated
Requirements & Prerequisites
Must be:
- Sociable, outgoing and flexible
- High attention to detail
- Able to follow processes and instructions precisely
- Prior retail or restaurant experience
- Hard working
- Customer service oriented
- Available Saturdays (at least 2 per month)
- Numeracy and counting (cash handling, inventory)
- Good work ethic, does not stand around/self-motivated
- Can lift up to 35lbs
- Willing to learn and able to correct mistakes
Above all attitude and willingness to work and learn is essential in candidates. The specific skills and tasks can be taught to the right fit candidate. This position could lead to retail management or product manufacturing management.
