Liburdi Turbine Services provides mechanical and metallurgical engineering services specifically tailored for the gas turbine industry. This allows us to perform an independent analysis of problems and, where required, to modify or redesign components. Our expertise lies in the fields of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis, metallurgy and mechanical design as they apply to aircraft and land based gas turbines. We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Production Worker.
The role of General Shop Labour reports to the Manufacturing Manager. We have 3 shifts:
day shift (Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm)
2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am)
3rd shift (Sunday to Friday, 11:00pm – 7:00am)
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Mainly responsible for taping, grit blasting and cleaning of parts
- Support manufacturing by performing a variety of tasks such as using air tools and coating spray support
Requirements & Prerequisites
Key Skill Requirements:
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent fine manual dexterity is required
Key Education Requirements:
- Minimum secondary school education
- Metal working industry knowledge of welding and grinding is an asset
- Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset
- Experience with air tools is an asset
