Mechanic Apprentice (310S / Class A)
Job Description
Our Hamilton, ON tire & auto shop is currently on the lookout for a new full-time Mechanic Apprentice to join our team.
Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
At Beverly Tire & Auto, we strive to be the destination for all our customers’ vehicle needs and we pride ourselves in being your one-stop shop for tires and auto repair in Ontario. Our teams perform skilled manual work in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles. In the Mechanic Apprentice role, you would hold a crucial position in our shop as you would:
- Complete vehicle road tests to identify deficiencies
- Conduct both general and major repair work on motor vehicles
- Diagnose the source of issues
- Determine the extent of repairs required
- Perform inspections
- Replace and adjust parts as necessary
- Other duties as required

After completing three months of service our full-time Team Members are not only eligible to participate in the Company group insurance plan, but also are eligible for a Line of Credit. The Line of Credit can be used for the purchase of parts and services for personal vehicles.
Requirements & Prerequisites
We are on the lookout for a candidate that has brilliant communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, passion about cars, in addition to:
- Class A/310S registered training agreement
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in auto repair and maintenance
- Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
- Previous experience in tires (an asset)
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Familiarity with a variety of automotive related products
- Experienced with troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment
- Outstanding analytic skills
- Own tools
