Position: Landscape Construction Foreperson
Location: Hamilton, ON
Pay: $25-32 per hour

Job Description:
Landscape Construction Foreperson related to the landscape construction industry. This position will involve assisting in the daily management of construction projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.

Key duties include:
- Managing a crew of 3-5 people.
- Drive company truck and trailer.
- Installation of natural stone (flag, armour, etc).
- Installation of interlock paving stone.
- Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls.
- Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
- Trim shrubs and evergreens.
Requirements & Prerequisites
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Meet with subcontractors and supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must have a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
