Major Components: Financial management; Maintenance and Property Oversight; Occupancy and Member Relations; Legal and Regulatory Compliance; Governance Support; Office and Staff Management.
Ability to ensure there is compliance with a number of detailed service agreements relating to the financing of the new units plus operating agreements with all three levels of government that are managed by the City of Hamilton.
This is a salaried position, the low end of the salary scale is listed, a higher salary may be offered based on qualifications matching the the job description. There is a 6 month probationary period. A benefit package is being offered.
This is an on-site work position. Hours can be personalized, there is a requirement for one evening per week; there are 3 or 4 Saturdays per year required.

3-5 years + years of housing co-operative or non-profit property management experience; strong financial literacy; knowledge of Co-op Housing Legislation in Ontario and the Ontario Housing Services Act; strong written and oral communications skills; staffing management for the board (from meeting set up to minutes to reports)
