Job Title: General Labour

Location: Hamilton, ON

Shifts: Afternoons, Evenings, Overnights – Casual, ON-CALL shifts

Pay: $17.60/hour

General Labour associates are responsible for the setup and teardown of event spaces (athletics, musical, and professional events) in downtown Hamilton. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that ensures events run smoothly and efficiently. Associates may be required to lift up to 50 lbs, depending on client specifications, and should be prepared for last-minute scheduling requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up event spaces including staging, furniture, equipment, and signage according to client specifications.
• Break down and restore spaces to their original condition after events.
• Lift, move, and handle materials safely (up to 50 lbs when required).
• Collaborate with event supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed safety boots/shoes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
