Job Description
Start Date: ASAP
Status: Full Time/ Part time Mon to Fri
Wage: 15.00 hr + Benefits
Location: Mohawk College Stoney Creek 481 Barton St
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preform prep work such as washing , peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables
Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating ,food safety and rotation procedures
Set up items for purchase on a daily basis
Utilize approved food recipes and production standards ensure proper quality , serving temperatures and standard portion controls
Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
Requirements & Prerequisites
Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Previous food service experience is considered an asset
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
