Position Description: Reporting to the Communications Specialist, the Digital Assets Coordinator will support Indwell’s communications, marketing, and public relations initiatives. Gathering, organizing, and editing communications materials, information and assets will be an essential part of the role. Additionally, this person will create and implement a permissions management system for Indwell’s digital assets. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore best practices for digital assets management 
  • Gather and organize digital assets into one comprehensive management system 
  • Implement a file-naming convention 
  • Implement a permissions management system and develop a workflow for collecting, approving, and revoking permissions 
  • Create digital assets management policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organization 
  • Collect a digital asset library of stock assets that can be used over the course of the year 
  • Other duties as assigned  

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week with flexibility required.  Primarily weekdays. This position is a temporary contract, ending after 12 weeks (subject to approval).  

Remuneration: $15.00/hr.; hours and position length subject to approval of Service Canada – Canada Summer Jobs.   


Requirements & Prerequisites

Requirements: 

  • Committed to upholding and modeling the standards set out in the organization’s Mission Statement, Code of Conduct and other operating standards and policies.  
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).  
  • Detail-oriented, and able to work independently and communicate well with others on the team.  
  • A variety of software/technical skills, such as experience with Microsoft 365 office suite (specifically SharePoint and OneDrive) and other document and folder management systems. Experience with digital assets management (DAM) systems development and coordination preferred.  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues and material. 
As a health care provider, Indwell requires evidence of Full-Covid 19 vaccination.   

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Undergraduate, bachelor’s degree or diploma in associated field — computer technology, information technology, library studies — or related field/relevant experience 
  • Candidate must qualify for age requirements set by Canada Summer Jobs (18-30 years old).
