Job Description
Join the culinary team at Brant Pump & Patio located in the heart of downtown Burlington. We are seeking experienced line cooks immediately to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining a winning team creating our signature meals in a great environment. Known for our food and our people, Pump Hospitality Group restaurants are looking for individuals with great attitudes, experience in food service and a commitment to impeccable food execution and presentation. We have four restaurants in Mississauga including Pump House Grille Co, Clarkson Pump & Patio, Erin Mills Pump & Patio and Papa Giuseppe’s, along with Brant Pump & Patio in Burlington. We offer very competitive wages, a great working environment and the opportunity to work with one of the area’s most established and favourite restaurant groups
Stating at $18/hour – Cash tip out paid weekly
Both full time and part time positions available
Previous experience required.

Requirements & Prerequisites
Responsibilities:
-Prepare basic components of each menu dish using our proven recipes
-Memorize and use our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
-Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleanliness standards
-Work with a team of cooks to do prep work for other shifts when needed
-Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
-Maintain a fun, positive working environment
Skills:
– Proven kitchen pro who knows your way around the kitchen
– Positive attitude and focus on customer service
– Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
– High level of professionalism
– Comfortable working with a team in a very fast-paced kitchen environment
-Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
-Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
