Job description

Our client was founded in 1946 and is the largest producer of open web steel joist and joist girders in North America. They are currently looking for several assembly workers that have experience working in steel companies or with tack welding. The company would like successful candidates to be a go-getter, mechanically inclined, and hard-working.

Job Duties Include:

· You will be responsible for helping to do some tack welding in a team setting

· Helping with clean up and maintaining a safe work environment

· Working with steel

· General labour tasks as needed

Qualifications:

· Experience working in the steel industry or a manufacturing setting

· Experience with tack welding is an asset

· Access to a reliable vehicle is required (not bus accessible)

Working Conditions:

· Clean, safe working environment

· Working in a team environment

· Open shop type environment, can be cold in the winter months

· Must be able to safely lift up to and including 50 lbs

Pay Rate $24/HR
