Requirements & Prerequisites

Job Summary: Responsible for the accurate processing and fulfillment of daily online and phone orders. Customer service focused, providing timely and accurate service in multiple departments.

Reporting to: Store Manager

Location: Burlington

Duties
Sales
Processes and coordinates all online & phone orders
Handles packing, shipping, tracking and customer service for all online & phone orders
Provides feedback to head office for any item maintenance including images, price changes, shipping charges etc.
Provides customer service in various in store departments during peak service times

Expense Control
Effectively manages operational expenses (supplies, packaging etc.)

Policies and Procedures
Enforces and adheres to all applicable legislation to ensure a safe and clean retail environment
Support the Company Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles
Enforce all Company policies and procedures
Manage and report any accident, incidents, WSIB cases to the Store Manager
Reports maintenance repairs in accordance with the Company’s reporting procedure

All other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements
Demonstrate an understanding of the grocery retail environment and inventory management
Demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism through all interactions
Proven ability to handle confidential information
Excellent time management skills
Moderate computer skills required, must be comfortable using a computer and various applications
Strong work ethic and integrity
A proven passion for customer service
Demonstrate a strong creative ability and willingness to learn

Essential Job Functions
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Environmental exposure to cold temperature
