DZ Driver/Mover
Job Description
- Wage $18-$21
- Hours vary each day & each week
- Drive and Operate 28′ Trucks
- Follow directions, read maps/GPS
- Pre-Inspect truck
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload furniture
- Wrap furniture in moving pads
- Disassemble, Assemble & place furniture as needed
- · Safely pack, load and unload breakable and fragile items
- Pack & unpack boxes
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; (Ie: check oil, tire pressure etc) comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- When applicable be able to do an inventory and Condition report
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Must have Valid DZ License and clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to pass a police check
- Pallet Jack experience, forklift experience preferred
- Organizational skills: to plan how to best pack items and arrange them safely on moving truck
