Crew Chief / Driver - Property Maintenance Company
Job Description
Immediate position available for experience crew chief/driver for property maintenance/landscape company in Hamilton.
Duties include driving crew to jobs, coordinate and supervise work and be a hands working member of the crew.
Landscape type duties include: mow or edge lawns, weeding, trimming or edging around flower beds. Ensure proper disposal of garbage and debris from all job sites. Follow all health, safety and emergency procedures.
Requirements & Prerequisites
Class G licence with a clean drivers abstract
Experience and working knowledge in a wide variety of duties, including landscaping and property maintenance
Ability to drive 5-ton dump truck
Ability to operate vehicle and powered equipment, skid steer, mini excavator, mowers, tractors, chain saws, etc.
Ability to supervise / direct employees
Hours can be long and varied during peak seasons
Capable of hard physical, repetitive labour; hot & cold environments
Regular and timely attendance is mandatory
All job sites are non-smoking environments
