Our services include emergency food and clothing; daily hot meals; emergency shelters for men, youth, families, women and children; transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs. Job Description
In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of tenants living at Mathias Place. Services to tenants include assessment, planning, crisis prevention and intervention, and supportive counseling.

Requirements & Prerequisites
Qualifications
- Primary case management and community development skills acquired through a post-secondary education in social or health services
- A demonstrated commitment to the mission values of Hospitality, Responsibility, Availability, Adaptability, Quality and Dignity
- Three years’ experience in mental health, and concurrent disorders is required as well as a ‘recovery orientation’ and ‘consumer driven’ style of practice
- Additional skills required are the ability to work independently and think creatively
- Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset
- CPR certification or willingness to be certified is required
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
