We are hiring a full-time, permanent CNC Milling Machinist to join our growing team in Grimsby. This is a full-time, permanent role. Candidates must be proficient with operation and programming of 3 or 5-axis CNC milling machines.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift with an 8:00am start time

Hourly Rate: $28.00-$34.00/hour depending on experience

Position Overview:

• Report to Manufacturing Team Lead
• Responsible for Set-up, programming, and operation of CNC 3-axis Mill or CNC 5-axis Mill
• Accurately interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
• Set parts and tools, and measure parts
• Perform first op-inspections and quality checks on machined parts
• General cleaning of workspace
• Use of other manual mills, lathes, saws, and other machinery as needed
• Ensure the use of proper PPE
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as VTR’s Mission, Vision, and Values
• Other related duties as required
