Job Description

Cassaday Cafe is seeking a Full-Time food service manager to oversee daily operations, which includes staff management, purchasing , production, and customer relations. Handling cash transactions and preparing daily specials for Residents, Staff, Visitors and Caretakers will also be part of managerial duties. The position is located in St. Josephs Villa, a long-term care residence in Dundas, ON. The successful candidate will be required to participation in weekly Covid-19 screening and will need to meet the following pre-requisites to qualify:

Requirements & Prerequisites

REQUIRED:

A current police check with vulnerable sector check, or the ability to obtain
A valid Food Handler’s Certificate OR Food Service Worker Certificate

PREFERRED:

Excellent communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to adapt and maintain sense of urgency in varying situations
Ability to lift and transport food & supplies up to 30lbs
Flexible schedule & ability to report to work with short notice
Catering experience an asset
Experience using Microsoft Office Software (Excel) an asset
