Petra Auto Trade Centre Inc. has proudly served the Hamilton community for nearly 24 years. We are a busy, independently owned automotive repair and sales facility looking for an experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for an apprentice who already has solid shop experience and is looking to further develop their skills while working alongside experienced technicians on a wide variety of vehicles and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
• Perform engine and transmission removals, installations, and replacements
• Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems
• Perform A/C diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
• Complete suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs
• Perform maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended inspections
• Maintain accurate repair documentation
• Keep work areas clean and follow all shop safety procedures
