Description:
Now Hiring Cooks our team members work together to provide excellent service and high-quality food in a clean, friendly and fun environment.
- Provide prompt and friendly service to customers
- Follow procedures to prepare food products for customers, maintaining high level of product quality and cleanliness
- Cooks are also responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of food preparation area, storage areas, including interior and exterior of restaurant, equipment, and utensils.
- Paid Training will be provided on the job
Job Duties:
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Experience:
- Fast food: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Location: Main St West, Hamilton
Requirements & Prerequisites
Skills Required and Experience:
- Passion for the kitchen, serving guests and working with people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
- Exceptional Customer service skills – able satisfy and exceed guest expectation
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment in the kitchen and restaurant
- Must work well within a restaurant team culture.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
- Possess food handler certificate or provide commitment to obtain one within 4 weeks of starting employment.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
