We are currently seeking a Landscaper to join our Team in Brantford serving Southwestern Ontario. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Duties:

Perform a variety of physically demanding tasks to complete landscape restoration projects including but not limited to:
- Installing vaults
- Place pull pits
- Repairing sprinkler lines
- Grading topsoil
- Installing sod and grass seed
- Digging pits, open or machine trench, placing conduit and pulling dabbles through ducts where necessary
- Work area cleanup, including back fill holes and restorations to the customer’s satisfaction
Able to operate vibratory plow equipment, excavators, skid steers etc.
Work closely with fibre crew and follow lead-hand directions
Maintain all Solo Cable vehicles in good order, clean and tidy
Complete required paperwork and associate activities
Manage tool inventory
Other duties as required

Requirements & Prerequisites

Requirements:

At least 1-year of landscaping experience
Must possess a valid driver’s license (a clean driver’s abstract is required to be insurable)
- AZ or AR licence class considered an asset
Must have your own safety boots
Successful candidates will need to pass criminal records check
Physically fit (able to lift and carry 50lbs)
Strong attention to detail
Must adhere to all company specific policies and regulations
Must be able to work independently
Able to follow directions
Self-motivated, disciplined, organized and team oriented
Excellent customer service skills
Basic technical troubleshooting skills
Willing to work in varied weather conditions
Able to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
Some out of town stay overs depending on project geography
