Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, while adhering to all safety regulations. This position runs local, regional and cross border. The successful candidate must legally be able to cross the border. Overnight trips are generally one night but could vary.
Duties
Operate commercial vehicles for transport across various locations
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and maintenance reporting.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
Collaborate with warehouse or logistics teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
Experience
Proven 3 years experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to navigate routes efficiently and adhere to schedules in a timely manner
Aptitude/Competencies
Ability to tarp and untarp utilizing different equipment
No height issues (ex. when tarping)
Flexible/versatile
Equipment
walking floors (will train), dry vans, straight trailers
This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple responsibilities while prioritizing safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety compliance. The successful candidate will be required to occasionally bunk in the truck overnight and home every night otherwise.
