Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team. You will assist with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, and to the highest standards. These roles require physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

Positions available:

  • Concrete Technician
  • DZ Driver/Concrete Technician

Job duties for both positions:

  • Perform general construction tasks including drilling, lifting, carrying, and moving materials such as gravel, concrete and dirt
  • Handling power tools and using a pressure washer
  • Shoveling and raking dirt, gravel and concrete
  • Assisting with the set-up of job sites, including loading and unloading materials
  • Maintaining an organized work area, including clean-up of job sites, trucks, equipment and tools

Additional job duties for the DZ Driver/Concrete Technician role:

  • Driving company truck to and from job sites

Days & Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm

Wage: Concrete Technician: $25 per hour;   DZ Driver/Concrete Technician: $35 per hour


Requirements & Prerequisites

Requirements for both positions:

  • Must have your own transportation to and from our company location which is not bus accessible (we are located in the Flamborough area)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 80 pounds)
  • Ability to work outdoors is required
  • Previous construction or landscaping experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus
  • Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow directions accurately

Additional requirements for the DZ Driver/Concrete Technician role:

  • DZ license with 5 years of driving experience (for insurance purposes)
  • Clean CVOR / driver’s abstract
