Job Description
We are looking to hire for our Waterdown location! As a Wellness Cafe Associate, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation. You’ll prepare smoothies and bowls, maintain store cleanliness and organization, manage inventory tasks, assist customers, and help ensure the overall customer experience is exceptional.
Days and hours of work:
Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Thursday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Please note: Hours may vary during July and August; the above schedule applies from September to June.

Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere
- Answer customer questions about menu items and supplements
- Handle customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
Food & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare smoothies, protein shakes, and açaí bowls according to shop standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all products
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Restock ingredients and prep items throughout shifts
Store Operations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, equipment, prep areas, and customer spaces
- Wash dishes and keep workstations organized
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Help maintain an organized and efficient workspace
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Someone who is personable and naturally connects well with customers to create a welcoming environment
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Reliable, dependable, and proactive
- Interest in health, fitness, or wellness is a bonus
