Job Description
We are looking to hire for our sandwich shop located in Ancaster!
Job Duties:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare subs and other menu items and serve customers
- Operate a cash register/point of sale system to process transactions
- Wash, peel and cut/slice vegetables and meat
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Days & Hours of Work: Flexible – Depends on Availability of the Employee. Our Hours of Operation are: Sunday: 10am – 10pm and Mon – Sat: 10am – 12am (midnight)
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Must be available a minimum of 3 days per week, for opening or closing shifts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable completing tasks that are physically demanding and repetitive
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
