Available positions may include jobs at various locations in Retail or Manufacturing such as:
Grocery Merchandiser, Deli Department, Cashier, Manufacturing, Warehouse Associate, Maintenance, Packer, Sausage Kitchen, Industrial Butcher/ Deboner, Gift Basket Warehouse
Requirements & Prerequisites
Retail/Grocery
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and other departments within the organization.
- Strong customer service skills are required.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the store.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
- Bend and twist the upper body, reach above and below shoulders.
- Bend and lift loads, up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
Manufacturing/Warehouse
- Experience (~2 years) in a warehousing, shipping /receiving or comparable role preferred
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to participate in a work schedule with early morning start times (5, 6, or 7am Monday to Friday)
- Ability to work in a meat processing facility (refrigerated/cold environment; handling raw meat products like beef, pork, chicken)
