This job entails;
Operating a commercial vehicle (School Bus) to transport students to/from school
Carefully observing and following all rules of the road; operating the vehicle in a safe manner
Clearly and effectively communicating with dispatch over radio regarding route/status/progress updates
Cordially and attentively interacting with passengers/students to ensure a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe riding experience
Requirements & Prerequisites
Class B licence an asset but not required. FREE in-house training & licence upgrading (to a B licence)
G class licence with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clear 3-year driving abstract
Availability Monday-Friday, from 6:30am until 9am, and from 2pm until 5pm
Submit results of a Criminal Background Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Commercial Driver Medical Exam
Clear and effective communication in English
Friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, professional etiquette
2-3 professional references
