We are hiring for multiple roles, please see below for details. The days & hours of work for each position will vary depending on the location’s hours of operation. Benefits are available after 6 months for Full-Time positions only (health, vision and dental).

Manufacturing Plant – Hamilton:

Part-Time Warehousing Associate / Driver ($18.00+)

Job Summary: Responsible for the shipping and receiving of products into the plant. Acts as a back-up DZ driver, safely delivering products to our retail locations and wholesale customers.

• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods, reporting discrepancies as needed
• Move stock to appropriate department/ storage and maintain accurate inventory records
• Prepare and verify retail and wholesale orders for timely shipping
• Operate invoicing terminals, handheld devices, lift trucks, and scales
• Assist in weekly inventory checks in coolers, freezers, and grocery storage
• Maintain cleanliness in warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas per SSOP guidelines
• Assist with delivery driving as needed (medium duty delivery trucks) to cover absences including but not limited to sick days, vacations, etc.

Grocery Store – Hamilton:

Full-Time Retail Receiver

Job Summary: Ensures that all products delivered to the store are properly documented and accounted for. Also responsible for assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Ensures that all deliveries are being managed in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Ensures that all shipments received are complete and match the accompanying receiving documents for product quality, best before dates, etc.
• Ensures invoices are logged in the receiving log.
• Ensures invoices are sent to head office in a timely manner.
• Assists in unloading deliveries.
• Follows rotation First in and First out of all products in the coolers, freezer and shelving.
• Communicates with Department Heads to ensure proper product availability.
• Prepares returns and credits for merchandise returned to suppliers or the warehouse.
• Prepares transfers of product to other stores as directed by the Store Manager.
• Assist in grocery department as needed.
• Assists in various departments as needed.

Grocery Store – Burlington:

Full-Time Bistro Lead ($18.50+)

Job Summary: The FOH Bistro Lead is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the Bistro. They are responsible for managing effective service while ensuring all customers at the Bistro are served in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Supervises, delegates and participates in daily departmental operation including but not limited to food preparation, customer service and departmental cleaning
• Responsible for ensuring efficient service while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for merchandising and maintaining the Bistro counter to maximize sales
• Responsible for departmental ordering to support the Company’s Merchandising and Promotional strategies
• Responsible for monitoring product rotation and discounting, escalating product feedback to vendors as applicable
• Responsible for expense control in the bistro, including but not limited to labor and operational expenses and preventative maintenance
• Provide training to new and existing Associates on Company best practices and expectations as well as policy adherence
• May have keyholder responsibilities including opening, closing and mid- shift duties
• May assist with curbside orders

Part-Time Bistro Associate (Minimum wage and up depending on experience)

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring all customers at the Bistro are served in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Serves customers meals and other products in the Bistro.
• Food preparation and meal service.
• Ensures that the Bistro counter display is well stocked in a visually appealing manner.
• Ensures proper product rotation in the Bistro counter and coolers.
• Assists with cash transactions.
• Monitor quality of product and report any concerns to the Bistro Department Supervisor.
• May assist with Curbside orders.

Part-Time Deli Associate (Minimum wage and up depending on experience)

Job Summary: Responsible for packaging, weighing and merchandising at the Deli counter. Also responsible for serving all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

• Assists customers in the selection of deli and fresh meat products.
• Ensures that customers at the Deli counter are served in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Slicing, packaging and weighing product.
• May assist with the slicing, weighing and vacuum packing product for the Self Serve department.
• May assist with Curbside orders.
• Ensure that the Deli counter display is well stocked in a visually appealing manner with proper regard to product rotation.
• Monitor quality of product and report any concerns to the Deli Department Supervisor.

Part-Time Bakery Associate (Minimum wage and up depending on experience)

Job Summary: Responsible for preparing, packaging and serving products in the bakery. Also responsible for serving customers at the bakery in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Assists customers in the selection of bakery products and other products sold in the bakery.
• Weighs, prices and wraps bakery products selected by customers.
• Weighs, prices and wraps bakery products to be merchandised in the self serve.
• Bakes fresh products daily.
• Ensures that the Bakery counter display is well stocked in a visually appealing manner with proper regard to product rotation.
• Monitor quality of product and report any concerns to the Department Head.
