Bookkeeper / Office Administrator / Office Manager - 25 001
Job Description
We are currently hiring for 2 roles:
Bookkeeper/Office Manager:
- Bookkeeping and data entry duties using Sage 50 Premium.
- Prepare financial statements, such as ledgers, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Utilize the appropriate accounting software to manage and automate financial tasks when relevant.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data for tax forms according to local and federal mandates.
- Maintains administrative office staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees.
- Maintains and upkeeps office equipment by organizing repairs and upgrades.
- Coordinates with IT department to resolve computer and system problems.
- Overall responsibility for time and absences tracking.
Compensation: Approximately $65,000 to start. Benefits: Drug, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 7% of wages into an RRSP
Days & Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 5:00, Friday 8:30 to 3:00
Bookkeeper/Office Administrator:
- Bookkeeping and data entry duties using Sage 50 Premium.
- Administrative support throughout the business.
- Ordering office supplies, filing, telephone and opening and sorting mail.
Compensation: Approximately $55,000 to start. Benefits: Drug, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 7% of wages into an RRSP
Days & Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 5:00, Friday 8:30 to 3:00
Requirements & Prerequisites
Requirements for Both Positions:
- Have experience and knowledge regarding bookkeeping
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word)
- Possess strong skills in organization and attention to detail
- Possess strong communication skills
- Are an independent thinker
- Can work well independently or as part of a team
