Halco Portables is looking for a Full-time DZ Licence Driver to operate a Pumper Truck to driver-specific and detailed routes in Brantford and surrounding areas. Pumper Drivers are required to empty and clean plastic and self-contained Halco bathroom units, and deliver and pick-up plastic portable washrooms.

The ideal candidate: Able to work Independently Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend when required. This person should be  mechanically inclined with knowledge of hoses, pumps, valves and PTO systems (an asset).

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or higher preferred

DZ-Level Driver’s Licence with a Clean Drivers Abstract 

Attributes and Duties:

• Ability to work independently
• Team player and willing to job share when required
• Loading and unloading trucks and ensuring loads are secure before driving with the ability to lift 50lbs.
• Complete Ministry required Circle Checks and report mechanical issues 
• Follow specific routes using routing software 

• Willing to be flexible and take on extra work when required, including weekends during peak season.

Working Conditions may include: Exposure to extreme weather conditions, exposure to human waste, and possible exposure to high traffic conditions while outside the vehicle.
