Job Description

Essential Mobility Products is a locally owned, rapidly growing company that serves the members of the Hamilton and Halton Communities with mobility devices and aids to daily living. We strive to make sure our clients are able to live their lives to the fullest. Our approach is a Client First Experience. Not only do we sell mobility devices and aids to daily living, but we also provide maintenance to all of the equipment that our clients require. Helping our clients during each step of the process from guiding them through multiple funding avenues, delivery, setup and maintenance, we pride ourselves on our Client First Experience.

Essential Mobility Products is currently seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator. This role requires a great deal of organization, confidentiality, time management and attention to detail. This role will be responsible for submitting, tracking and following up on all client applications for mobility devices with the Government of Canada’s Assistive Devices Program as well as ODSP, the Special Supports Program of Hamilton and several other companies that provide funding for mobility devices.

A typical day in this role will consist of the following general tasks:

  • Receiving lead calls from clients
  • Verifying and uploading ADP applications and invoices online
  • Follow up with Therapists regarding documentation
  • Follow up with Clients regarding status of documentation
  • Confirming appointments
  • Tracking Sales figures
  • Invoicing
  • Ordering specific product when required
  • Some Marketing
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager

Requirements & Prerequisites

The requires qualifications that we are looking for are, 5+ years of administrative experience, attention to detail, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, excellent customer service, ability to prioritize work, enjoys a fast past environment, previous experience dealing with Government bodies would be considered an asset. Quickbooks Online experience as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
