Job Description

All positions listed are:

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday 7:00am – 4:00pm)
• Eligible for benefits (Extended health care, dental care, vision care, RRSP matching)

Ferrous Equipment Operator
Wage: $27+ per hour

• Sorting and compiling of incoming scrap metal
• Loading trucks with sorted outgoing material
• The candidate will primarily utilize a material handling crane but also use a lift truck, bobcat, or excavator.
• Training will include health and safety requirements, metals identification, and necessary equipment as needed

Non-Ferrous Warehouse Labourer
Wage: $17+ per hour

• Sorting and compiling of incoming scrap metal such that sorted material can be shipped
• This position will require the regular lifting of material – it may include using a lift truck or bobcat
• Training will include health and safety requirements, metals identification, and necessary equipment as needed

Mechanic Apprentice (310T)
Wage: $27+ per hour

• Duties will include the activities related to the maintenance of trucks and equipment
  • Services, repairs, overhauls, diagnoses, and inspects motor coaches, heavy trucks, and truck-trailers
• The employer uses tractors, roll-off trucks, lugger trucks, dump trailers, as well as Liebherr material handlers, and several types of excavators and lift trucks.
• The candidate will be supervised by a licensed 310T mechanic.
• Training will also include health and safety requirements, metals identification, and necessary equipment as needed.
