Shop Technician - 22 046
Job Description
Employer produces fine concrete work surfaces, furniture, decorations and functional items.
Duties:
- Learn to make moulds, create mixes and finish fine concrete
- Field work is required to make templates and deliver the final product
- Some lifting (occasionally up to 90 lbs.)
- Accurate material measuring
- Use of woodworking power tools
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Candidate must be able to lift an 88-pound sack of cement
- Ability to maintain concentration for measuring and mixing is essential
- Ability to problem solve and work independently is a huge asset for the candidate.
- Candidates must be willing to learn
- Full training is provided – No experience is required
- COVID-19 Vaccination is required
- An interest/curiosity for operating power tools is an asset.
- Woodworking experience is an asset
- Although the position is technical – artistry helps
