Job Description

Looking for someone who can operate a table saw, planer, bandsaw, routers, and other common woodworking tools.

The starting wage will be between 16-18$ per hour for the first 3 months and will receive a raise once the 3 months is completed. The amount will be based on performance.

You will require your own PPE.

A vehicle is an asset but not required.

Primary responsibilities are the following but not limited to:

  • Produce and test wood products.
  • Keep shop clean
  • Monthly maintenance on machinery
  • Ability to read and write at a high school level
  • The ability to work independently or as a team
  • The ability to work at a fast pace
  • Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, routers, sanders, planers, and saws.
  • Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
  • Verify dimensions using a caliper, tape measure, or rule.
  • Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit.
  • Sand products using sander or sandpaper.
  • Operate specialized pieces of woodworking machinery.
  • Ensure wood isn’t warped, cracked, or swollen.

Requirements & Prerequisites

The applicant should have some experience either in a woodshop or as a carpenter.
