Job Description

Our client is a supplier of high-quality steel located in the City of Hamilton at the western end of Lake Ontario on the St. Lawrence Seaway. We are currently recruiting for experienced Crane Operators that will be an integral part of the material handling and logistics operations.

Here is What You Will Be Doing

· Load and transport raw materials and by-products from Primary Business Units

· Maintain raw material storage areas.

· Maintain ditches and drainage

· Clean-up under conveyor systems, yard maintenance and support plant shutdown

Requirements & Prerequisites

Are you Qualified?

· Must have a valid G license with a clean Driver’s Abstract

· Minimum of 2 years previous experience operating heavy equipment

· Desire to learn, openness, adaptability and the ability to apply what you learn

· Self-motivated, results driven and a team player

· Must be physically fit

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Overtime

· Demanding and at times a harsh work environment in terms of weather and heat

· Must be able to commit to working variable hour and shift schedule
