Job Description

We are seeking a Cable Installer (underground) to become an integral part of our team! Installing the permanent cable drop from the pole/pedestal to the customers home and then activating the new drop cable.

Responsibilities:

• Receive daily work order from dispatch.
• Plan daily route.
• Maintain company vehicle with tools and stock.
• Ability to problem solve and create a game plan for the burial route.
• Order and maintain inventory stock supplies.
• Work directly with customers in a professional manner.
• Proficient and safe using cable line tools and quick cut saw.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Cable installations is not required but considered an asset.
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with others and train.
