Job Description

Position is in West Hamilton. Looking for an individual to work independently (after training) at a withdrawal services site in the kitchen warming food making salads and providing custodial services. Looking for someone for approximately 2-3, 8-hour shifts per week. Willing to work weekends.

We are looking for someone that is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude. Experience working with food preferred and food handlers certificate, start times is 10am -5:30/6pm.

Responsibilities:

Warming pre-cooked food, preparing salads and veggie trays as per stated menu. Set food out buffet style for clients anywhere from 15 -25 people for a lunch and dinner. Clean up after meal. (dishes, sweeping etc)

Provide custodial services between meals (floors, garbages, washroom , touch point cleaning etc.)

time management, able to multi task, ensure that the work environment is clean, mature and responsible, able to follow kitchen procedures and keep kitchen clean and organized.

Preferred Candidate

Has Food Handling Certificate or willing to do online training

WHMIS or willing to do online training

Prior Food Handling experience

$16.00-$16.25 depending on experience.

All areas get touch point cleaning , gloves provided , masks. All workers and clients screened prior to entry.
