Building Superintendent/Cleaner
Full Time
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity. The Building Superintendent/cleaner’s main responsibility will be daily cleaning of all common areas, minor maintenance in the units, unit turnovers, garbage, and recycling. There will be no office or Tribunal responsibilities. The building superintendent will be required to live on site. Two-bedroom apartment and benefits provided including annual paid vacation time.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidate for the above position will have experience in building upkeep and cleaning/janitorial. Attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced work environment are essential. The Building Superintendent will be required to be on call for tenant emergencies 24 hours while on duty. (5 days per week). Experience working with tenants who are experiencing mental health and or addictions issues is considered an asset. Fluency in second language is considered an asset. Family Building.
