Job Description
Job Title: Production Worker
Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper of assigned positions of a production line in order to meet or exceed the production schedule.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform start up inspection and fill out checklist as instructed
- Clean equipment and worksurfaces before and after use
- Ensure proper labels are loaded and date is set
- Check that proper pallets are being used as per customer requirements
- Inspect product and grade out inferior quality as needed
- Inspect finished product for quality, labelling and uniformity
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
- Job is performed in a Production / Warehouse environment
- Temperatures vary from 23°C to 4°C (in cooler only)
- Production Workers stand for the duration of the shift
- Safety Shoes are required
Work Schedule:
Shifts will typically start at 7am, Monday to Friday. End time is determined by the Production Schedule; 8 hours shifts are typical. When deemed necessary by the Production schedule, Weekends and Holidays maybe required and will be deemed mandatory.
Requirements & Prerequisites
- Safety Shoes are required
- Must be able for stand for the duration of shift
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays when required
