Production Supervisor
Job Description
Custom HVAC production located in Dundas, ON
Your responsibilities as our Production Supervisor will be but are not limited to:
- Maintain shop cleanliness at all times
- Work in conjunction with Health and Safety Committee to ensure shop and personnel safety
- Responsible to set and achieve daily production goals
- Monitor critical control and inspection points carefully
- Provide orientation and training to new employees
- Assist employees with task prioritization and give support
- Plan, assign and schedule personnel to ensure production is efficient, accurate and safe
- Directly report to Operations Manager to resolve issues pertaining to production, safety and personnel in a timely manner
- Knowledge in welding, brazing, soldering machine, and machine tool operations
Shift Information
- Monday to Friday
- Ability to work Saturdays when needed
- Ability to work overtime when needed
Wage $22-$25 to be negotiated based on experience
Requirements & Prerequisites
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Ability to supervise more than 50 people
- Valid drivers licence (asset)
- Ability to lead by example
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment
- Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Adhere and enforce company values and standards
