Supply Staff Position Early Childhood Educator
Job Description
Individual who can provide occasional relief to our regular employees.
Ensure the health, safety and well being of the children and support children’s development.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers.
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of child development in work with all age groups.
Provide experiences that are age appropriate and interesting to children.
Requirements & Prerequisites
RECE Designation or demonstrated experience working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Ability to work well with others: children, families, coworkers and community partners.
Ability to carry out the physical duties and tasks associated with the daily schedule in each classroom and on the playground.
Clear health assessment and criminal reference check.
Familiarity with Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years “How Does Learning Happen?” will be an asset.
